Interesting novel. Very interesting ideas about human nature, politics, and military strategy.

Kratman is up to his usual standards here. You can't let your attention lag for 1 page -- everything affects everything else. He is quick to show ties between actions and their consequences. Things are leading up to the next book nicely. Characters are developing nicely, relationships are
