Dealing with parent remarriage, sibling rivalry, bullying, lack of confidence and first love, "Cherry Crush" is the start of a new series by Cathy Cassidy. Aimed at younger teens, Cherry has a convincing, gentle voice which many girls will identify with. This is a sweet book with a strong focus on

the importance of families, and I think the series will appeal to 10-13 year olds.
