Brynn has just moved back to Sturgis, MA from Chicago after being away 4 years. She applied for an internship position at Motive, a true crime program, pitching the cold case of the unsolved murder of a teacher at her school, Mr. Larkin. Three students, Tripp, Shane and Charlotte found Mr. Larkin's

body in the woods by the school.

As she gets more and more involved in the case, old feelings, memories and friendships come back, some solid, some not so much.

Nothing To Tell was an easy read and one that definitely kept my interest. I wanted to find out the end. There isn't much in the way of action...but there's enough to satisfy. And of course, there are a lot of suppositions and red herrings along the way to confuse the reader.Actually, though, I'm not even sure if they solved the murder. They did solve other crimes, but.....(I;m not going to reread the book to find out).

I think the best character, actually though, is Ellie, Brynn's younger sister. Conclusion: Nothing to Tell is an enjoyable read.

Another fine mystery from this author. There's a murder, then four years later another one. Brynn is determined to solve the first one, but in order to do so, can she be honest about her motives for doing so? Then there are all the people who might have had reason to kill the beloved teacher. The
Show More
deeper Brynn digs, the muddier everything becomes until your head is going back and forth, trying to keep the suspect du jour straight. It's a fun and confusing ride for the reader, one well worth taking.

I chose this as a quick little palate cleanser and it really dragged for me. Honestly, I read this like 10 days ago and when I went to write this review I couldnt remember much about it.

The plot in the abstract sounds really good - its just the writing that felt so boring to me.

Brynn and her family move back to Boston after a scandal at her old school cost her a position on the school paper and a college admission. When they arrive back in Boston, she and her younger sister Elle start at a prestigious public high school (again). When Brynn was in 8th grader her favorite

teacher was killed. She considers it a cold case and sweet talks her way into an internship on a True Crime podcast by pitching the story.
Her investigation puts her in harms way and raises more questions. Her path crossed again with Tripp, who found the body, and of course has grown incredibly handsome in the interim. His home life is rough and he's in a tight friendship with Charlotte and her boyfriend (the other two people who found the body and vowed never to talk about it again). Secrets are revealed, relationships uncovered, and the book will keep readers turning pages!

Brynn's family moved away after her favorite teacher, Mr. Larkin, was killed. Now they are moving back and she is returning to St. Ambrose. While interviewing for an internship, she floats the story that her teacher was killed, and the murder hasn't been solved. She was friends with one of the 3

kids that found the body, and now that she is back in school, she begins digging into the past. However, some people don't want her to get too close to her former friend, Tripp Talbot. Yet, Brynn knows they are lying about something.
I enjoyed this YA novel and was a bit surprised about the ending.
