Description

Tie-in to the international TV cult sensation starring Lucy Lawless. Xena, once in love with conquest and destruction, now fights for the side of good. Though constantly haunted by her wicked past, Xena courageously battles mortals, gods, demigods and monsters, and heroically protects the downtrodden from evil. In The Empty Throne, in a small remote village, Xena and her protege, Gabrielle, make a stunning discovery: all of the men in town have disappeared without a trace. Meanwhile, armed bands are running rampant in the streets. What mysterious and malevolent force is at work? Strange magic? Godly might? Xena and Gabrielle must uncover the truth before it is their turn to disappear…!

Set after the Battle of Troy, Xena and Gabrielle have gone to visit Queen Penelope to make sure everything on the island of Ithica are okay since King Odysseus hasn't returned home (being stuck in his own adventures of the Odyssey and all).

Draco has set up camp inside the palace and Xena has to get him out!

Ru Emerson spins an exciting Xena tale, but I feel she has created a new Draco persona and lost the Draco from the series. I also feel that Gabrielle has been reduced to a 3rd string role, only used for filler.

Go read a Fanfic or two if you'd like Xena Fiction. They're better, and a lot of them stick so much better to canon.

I mean, shakra?? Really? It's not a shakra, it's her chakram...
