traveled west. It ties in with the 5th grade History standards and can be used by the teacher as a supplement to the Oregon Trail standards. There are many pictures and illustrations. It covers all aspects of the journey from the beginning to the reaching of the final destination. It includes trail maps that chart the trail and a timeline of the history of travel west. Age Group: 9-12 years.
