A cute story about responsibility, but it suffers from the cultural stereotypes of the era in which it was written.

Even though Frances Lattimore's book are very dated and I very much doubt that many children would love her books, most are out of print anyway, my collection is from scrounging around the internet and buying every reasonably used copy I could get.
