A plethora of well-known writers contributed short stories: Jonathan Safran Foer, Nell Freudenberger, ZZ Packer, Nicole Krauss, Karen Russell, Dara Horn, and others. Unfortunately, most of the stories were just not to my taste. They seemes to be trying a bit too hard to be avant garde, kinky,

"new," which meant that the main characters just didn't engage me.
