Interesting to read, but a simplified somewhat unsympathetic caricature seemingly meant to be amusing and ridiculed, and that makes me feel yucky.

Very funny. I giggled out loud. Fante is quite a character. Despite Fante being an annoying snob, it did make me want to get to work on my own stories.
