Unbelievable subtle seemingly spontaneous flow of thoughts and stories about his mother after his parents have died. Only after his father died could he write the book about his mother although or because his father asked about the book every time he visited his father.
Reading this book I thought

about the process of change and growing dementia of my own mother and I even started dreaming about my parents after so many years. I think this is the best compliment one can make a writer.
