unlikable but the author avoided the potholes and instead created a fascinating woman who was easy to root for. The book is narrated by Griffith, and she has a strong and distinctive voice. The plotting was also well done, with several seemingly disconnected threads coming together in the end. I really enjoyed this debut and look forward to continuing the series.
