In this interesting and funny story, Mrs. Frizzle and the tour group she's with "accidently" get taken back in time without their tour guide. They then experience an ancient Egyptian market, farming, pyramid buiding, partying, and even help make a mummy. The ancient Egyptians are "thrilled"

(confused) to have their help. Of course they make it back to the present day.

This is a great informational book. It is the story of the Magic School Bus's beloved teacher, Ms. Frizzle. She takes a vacation to Egypt and while there she puts her teaching skills to good work. The group transports back in time to ancient Egypt and through reading the book I learned about the

culture of ancient Egypt. It was very interesting. The book illustrated the way Egyptians dressed, the houses in which they lived and even showed how they created a mummy. The end of the book also explains how it is impossible to time travel and discusses fantasy and reality. I thought that was a good thing to add to avoid confusion for readers.

I loved this book. I could not believe all the things I learned about Egypt through a fun children's book! I would much rather learn the material that way than through a textbook! It is a great teaching utensil. The character of Ms. Frizzle is fun and upbeat. The book itself is beautifully illustrated and keeps your attention.

I would use this book definitely for a unit on Egypt! I would also like to extend the book by creating things that would be made in Egypt and of course taking the opportunity to intergrate more Magic school bus books within my classroom. I am convinced I am going to get a costume to dress like Ms. Frizzle!

Ms. Frizzles Adventures Ancient Egypt is about a teacher who is going on a trip to Egypt and every time she goes on a trip something interesting happens. When they get to Egypt, it turns in to Ancient Egypt and they go around with different people and learn lots of different things about Ancient

Egypt.

I didn’t really like the book that much. I didn’t think the information it used about Ancient Egypt was very elaborate. I also thought the pictures and pages were too crowded. It had the story and extra information on the same page and it was too crowded. It was hard to stay into the story with all the extra information so close.

You could read this story to class during a lesson about Ancient Egypt. You could also have your class dress up in togas and mummies.

Ms. Frizzle's adventure this time takes us back to ancient Egypt to learn about its culture and history. Ms. Frizzle and the other people from the plane go around visiting different sites and learning about how ancient Egypt ran.

I liked how informative this book was, but at the same time it can be

a little too informative at once. Each page is filled with so much information that it is very easy to get overwhelmed.

This book would be great to use in a lesson over ancient Egypt. I might have the students make their own pyramids out of Legos as well.

Entertaining childrens book for young readers illustrated similiar to a comic book. Written like a class trip, it will keep a child entertained with an adventure-like tale of parachuting out of an airplane and travelling back in time to Ancient Egypt. Facts are placed in smaller captions at the

bottom of the pages to initiate discussion.
