Beautiful illustrations of fishes, with group names as well as individual species. I'm not sure whether the author made up some of the group names or not, but the value is in the artwork, which have the feel of Japanese watercolors, I'm no expert, but I must be close to the truth since there is a

museum dedicated to him in Japan.
