This is a great story for children. Of all the Burgess stories I have read, this is my favourite. Bowser is led from his familiar territory on Farmer Brown's farm by wily Old Man Coyote to an area he has never been to before Tired and hungry, he is taken in by people who plan to keep him. Only the

timely arrival of hie old nemesis Sammy Jay saves him. The chase by Bowser to catch Old Man Coyote is a classic where the chaser becomes the chased. I don't think this is currently in print so you may have to look in libraries or on antiquarian book sites for a copy.
