Orion Children's Books (an Imp (1993), Edition: New Ed, Hardcover, 96 pages
Description
When Miss Price falls off her broomstick, it's the start of an amazing adventure for Carey, Charles and Paul. The Magic Bed-Knob, together with its sequel, Bonfires and Broomsticks, became the popular Disney film, Bed-knob and Broomstick.

This is the story of three children, a witch, and a magical travelling bed. It is rather mundane and only vaguely related to the movie. I read this in the omnibus Bed-Knob and Broomstick. This is much more recognizable to the movie than the second novella, Bonfires and Broomsticks.

Local notes
Carey, Charles and Paul knew that Miss Price had hurt her ankle falling off a broomstick, so to persuade them to keep her secret she cast a spell on Paul's bedknob. One twist takes them wherever they want, even the past.
