I found reading "The Merlin Effect" a very enjoyable experience. The book filled my mind with adventure and legend. I'd find that a person that loves a big dive into the ocean of adventure would love this book.

Not good. Lots of holes, even for a YA fantasy. And the dialogue. It's pretty bad. The style is fine. He's not a bad writer, just cheesy and a real lack of attention to the depth of his world. I know, it's a kids book. But it wasn't written by a kid, right? Riiiiight. So we can't excuse him from

scrutiny. Sorry.
