A pig called Francis Bacon

Reissue of a novel for children first published in 1996 and named a Notable Book by the Children's Book Council of Australia in 1997. Staying with her aunt and uncle on their pig farm for the holidays, Lucy discovers a new pig barn with high-tech equipment, and inside, Francis, a talking pig. As Lucy befriends Francis, she wonders what the pig's owner, the mysterious Genius Genes Corporation, has planned for Francis. Also reissued are the 1998 sequel, 'My Friend Roger Bacon' (1998), as well as new story, 'Roger Bacon Reporting'.
