A great conclusion to the first story arc of this series! I love these characters just as much as I do Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice characters--and I can only hope that they all meet.

In this book, Hal and the crew--now accompanied by Lydia--follow the pirate Zavac across the sea and down the

River Dan. Along the river they encounter set-backs and treachery, but by using their skills and working as a team to overcome obstacles, they are able to follow Zavac to the pirate town of Raguza. Once there, they must face a final battle, of wits and seamanship, to reclaim their honor and their Andomal.

A great Third installment to the brotherband chronicles, leaving me really hoping this isn't the third and final book in the series.

I have had this book on my shelf to read for a year. I really enjoy John Flanagan's stories. I admit to having read them all now. Can't wait for next one coming out this fall.
This is the third in the Brotherband Chronicles. It finishes the story line of finding the Andomal that was stolen on

their watch.

They are truly a Brotherband. They have faults and strength each one different from the others.
I started the book and could not put it down till I had finished.
Hal uses his mind and skills that he has been taught to lead the band to find the Raven crew that had stolen the Andomal.
This is one series that I will reread again and enjoy it. It is fast paced adventure a crew of boys, a girl and one armed warrior working together.

Ahhhh. That was so worth the ride. BUT will there be more stories about Hal and Stig and Lydia? Will Hal invent glasses for Ingvar? Really left me hanging with the whole Lydia thing. But loved the way they came home, And we got more Erak.... he needs a pre story, so does Thorn. Just sayin'.

This book is great about Hal and his crew searching for the andomal. Skandias most prized treasure. And though fierce a battle with Zavac's pirates that comes to their dead. They must make justice to Zvcac and reclaim the andomal and succeed through there adventure.

Definitely a fantastic sequel, and great continuation of the series. One thing I really like about John Flanagan is his consistency - his series really don't seem to get any weaker as they continue.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series - in fact I think "The Hunters" is my favourite book out of the three. I'm not sure if it's the last or not, but Flanagan certainly left the ending open enough to add another book (or three) to the Brotherband series. With lots of excitement and adventure, and

a touch of romance, this is a fabulous read.
