The Ships Cat is an intricately and stunningly illustrated book about a stowaway cat who joins a ship crew. He becomes a success and even meets royalty! The story, written in prose, is also in beautiful font. This book, I feel, is an exceptional work of art, almost more than it is a story.

received this book before I could read it, it was beyond my level at the time. But the pictures were enough to keep me coming back to it. Once I was able to read it well, it was even better.
