There's very little text, some hidden by the pop ups until you pull the tabs. The little boxes of text - literally little boxes of text - range from Decepticons, to Autobots, to Cybertron. It's pretty informative, and pretty spread out, for what you get. It also doesn't matter that you get much, or that it's not giving you much new information. The main attraction are the pop ups.
They are gorgeous, detailed, and just insane. Highly recommended for any fan of Transformers, just for the art. I will be rereading this book often, or at least playing with the tabs. Again and again and again.
