A funny story about animals. Could be used during a class discussion about the differences in animals.

If you think this book is only about taking your pet snake for a stroll, think again!! “Don’t Take Your Snake for a Stroll”, is a tale of all the wild bizarre things that could happen if you took you pet kangaroo, elephant, coyote, skunk, chimp, rhinoceros, or even your pet moose out for a

stroll. There are rhymes throughout the book. However, I think children between the ages of two and four may not understand the humor regarding each animal. But it will help them to remember, “If you want o have fun without worry, listen to what you should do: Leave all the animals tucked in at home and take only people with you.”
Fabulous illustrations!
Awesome read out loud.
Recommended for children aged 6 and up.

This is a book about not taking your animals with you places because they will get into mischief. So instead take people with you places. It is a silly book that will get children interested in reading.

Great artwork and illustrations. Goofy book about the idea of taking your animals out into the community. Good beginning book for novice readers and animal lovers.
Good for sharing about pets, responsibility, prediction, story telling
