Everybody knows about this book. It's about a kid who grows up in the jungle.
The first book I ever read. So it's kind of important to me.

Children will enjoy this tale of a boy raised by wolves in the jungle. It is a fun tale that many children around the world watch on the televisions.

First line:
~Many strange legends are told of the jungles of far-off India~

Once again re-reading as part of my downsizing and loved it. It is another Little Golden Book that I have had since my children were young. Disney got it right with the film on which this little book is based. Reading the

book makes me want to check out the movie again. Colourful illustrations, wonderful characterizations. Love it!

This book is one of my favorites. The story line is very great. The children in the classroom will love this book because they will be able to imagine what it would be like in their minds. It is a good story and it has many great characters and pictures that the kids will really enjoy. The main

thing to take away from this book is it is good for the kids to get their imagination going and this book does just that with all of the characters and the good artwork.

Although this Little Golden book is simply a shortened version of the Jungle Book it is still a fun, adventure filled story for children. The story is centered around a boy named Mowgli who is raised in the jungle by wolves, and befriends Baloo, the bear, and is threatened by Shere Khan, the tiger.

Despite Mowgli being different from all the animals, he learns important lessons from the jungle before eventually finding his way to a local village.

Summary: The Jungle book is about a boy named Mowgli, an abandoned child who is raised by wolves, has a bear and a jaguar as his best friend. He then is sent to go live in the Man Village though he does not want to. Now Mowgli goes some wild adventure with his friends.
Review: The Jungle Book is a

wonderful book it had a decent length making it great to read out loud. The book is good quality, the binding is tight, and has a good lesson to it. Classroom: I would use the book to teach student that sometimes one needs to listen to others and allow them to help you.
Genre: The book is fantasy because we have a boy who lives in a jungle who is raised by a black panther, a bear, and by wolves. In the story animals can also talk and sing making it unreal because who had really heard a bear sing and dance like Baloo. Though over all this book is great and any child would like it.
Medium: Color Pencil.computer animation.
Age: Primary.
