This book is about a boy named Sam that is too short to reach and do things for himself; until Grandpa gives him a chair for his birthday. Sam learns how to problem-solve using his new chair and gains self-confidence.

I like the story itself. It is definitely something all children can eventually relate to. Didn't love the illustrations.

I love this book, it is very cute and gives a positive vibe about never giving up and just try to find ways to get what you want. This is a perfect birthday book because it tells the child it is okay to be older and that there will struggle but never give up.
