An example of a visual on page 6, there is a picture of two little girls looking out the window. The text says, "Peek out your window at the sky. Is it sunny or cloudy? Rainy or windy? You are checking the weather!" The book introduces/ reminds students -depending on their level- what weather/ checking weather entails of. Having the visual provides The language is also very clear and coherent and also provides definitions within. On page 7 it says, "Weather is what it's like outside at one place, at one time..."
