Genre: Science Fiction

This is a great example of a science fiction book because it contains real facts and definitions about Meteors, Comets and Planets. It is fictional in the sense that the class traveled into space to reverse the direction of a meteor, but their logic in changing the path was

accurate.

Plot: This is a good struggle plot because you are waiting to see what happens next. There are twists in the story as Dorothy Ann labels the mystery rock the wrong thing and as they end up going the wrong way. In the end, there is also a surprise call from NASA.
