Clifford tries to do good deeds but keeps messing things up because of his strength. Finally he saves two children from a burning house and puts the fire out. He gets a medal.

I like this book a lot. It shows children all different sorts of good deeds they can do. This can teach children to be nice to each other and do nice things for each other. It can also be used for a class that is doing some kind of charity work or for a class about to start a fundraiser.

Another story about the sweet big red dog who always helps out around town but always makes a mess while doing it. The lesson is to always be helpful.

Another great children's book! Clifford and his owner Emily set out to do good deeds for fellow neighbors. Despite running into funny encounters, in the end, they follow through and end up doing a good deed. This series of books always have a lesson to be learned which is another great aspect of

the Clifford series. Most children love dogs and Clifford is no exception!

This book is not only a comical, but it teaches kids about doing good deeds! It teaches children that helping eachother is the important part...even though Clifford tends to mess up some of his own deeds! However, in the end, Clifford is honored for all the good deeds he did that day. This story
Show More
will keep kids engaged due to its colorful pictures and creative text. Everyone loves Clifford!

Cute book of Clifford "only trying to help." Everything goes wrong with a too eager dog often too big and powerful for his own (and other people's) good until he is just the right size to ***SPOILER*** save the children on the second floor of the burning house and put the fire out.

Clifford Good Deeds by Norman Bridwell
Audio version so I am not seeing the colorful pictures.
Emily has a dog Clifford. Her friend Timothy try to do a good deed every day.
They help others by piling leaves but it makes Clifford sneeze and they spread all over the place.
They try to help another
Show More
neighbor and a similar problem comes up....deed after deed.
Will they ever find something Clifford can help with to do a good deed.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device).

Always remember to help out those around you. Clifford shows ways that he helps out his friends, family, and community just like we can.

Clifford tries to help a neighbor boy do good deeds, but instead he simply spreads more chaos and destruction . . . like always. Once again, a convenient emergency causes everyone to consider this menace to society a hero. And this is the second fire, so I'm starting to wonder if Clifford is an
Show More
arsonist, setting these fires on purpose to burnish his reputation.

This is J. Jonah Jameson reporting . . .
