An interesting alphabet of animals, each with an action word. "K Kangaroos Kissing," and so on. Some of the creatures are very obscure, like Uglybird and Xenosaurus, which is the usual trouble with this format of alphabet book. Not bad for toddlers and preschoolers who will like the simple clear

and cheerful pictures. But we also like alphabet books with more words and more details in the artwork for each letter. It's good to have a wide variety for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

A very short alphabet book, with each letter illustrated by an adjective-noun pair. The animals get a little weird at the end of the book (xylo xylophoning? Uglybird being ugly?), but that's only to be expected.

Sandra Boynton writes entertaining children's books that can be used for many purposes. A to Z is no exception. For every letter there is an animal that starts with that letter, and then an action that starts with that letter. The illustrations show the animals performing their action.

Fun illustrations, like all of Boynton's books. While not as delightful as some other Boynton books, this is in the top third of alphabet books, by my ranking: each animal is drawn doing some alliterative action and with the appropriate first letter -- "hippo hiding". Very simple, gets the point

This book teaches the A, B, C’s using animals and actions. This book is wonderfully illustrated and shows animal and action right next to the letter they represent.

I love Sandra Boynton's animal kingdom. Here she showcases 25 of her favourite animals with (almost) every letter of the alphabet. Notice that there are 26 letters in the alphabet, but there are only 25 animals. I won't say more, but I don't want to spoil the gentle surprise. Sandra's funny animals

I liked the book alot especially the details. She took so much time in thinking this book through. Kids love having pictures to guide them through their studies. I would let my kids use this book when introducing the alphabet. Also to show the many differnt kinds of aniamls.

Summary: Simple A to Z book that has a picture for each letter of the alphabet.

Review: This book is a simple enjoyable book that has fun pictures of animals doing something that goes with each letter. For example P is penguins painting. A great book to stretch the visual of a letter into
