In this Middle School book Rafe Khatchadorian's sister Georgia Khatchadorian gets to tell her side of the story for once. in this book she shows how her brother is a "big fat liar." but in this book she tells you about her troubles and problems. Also she discovers that the reason shes nothing like
Not everything that happens to her is bad though, she made three friends, Nanci, Mari and Patti. She starts a rock band with them called "We Stink" the name is very literal. The band didn't have a singer until a girl named Rhonda who doesn't really fit in at her school. She gets asked to the schools dance by a Boy named Sam. At the end of the book things start to look up. One is her band actually plays really good at the school's Battle of the bands. Two she finally gets back at Missy for being so mean by accidentally embarrassing her in-front of the whole school. Lastly she gets to dance with Sam. At the end of the book her and her brother a back to the same old game of war.
I liked this book because it shows the other side to the story, it is full of jokes and funny illustrations, and has very good imagery. I think the book is good because of it showing the other side of the story because readers are so used to reading Rafe's point of view but never his little sister's. I found the pictures in this book funny and perfect to add a funny element to the story. Lastly the way James Patterson wrights his books puts a great image of whats going on inside of the readers head.
