There are two main reasons I like, Friends for a Princess. One reason I adored this story is because the author uses extremely descriptive and clear language throughout the book. For example, the author describes the characteristics of all the characters, “Doc is caring. Doc is Wise. Doc needs

glasses for his eyes.” This enhances what the reader knows about each character. Also, the author uses rhyming throughout the story; for instance, “Sleepy likes to take a nap. Dopey wears a purple cap.” Secondly, the illustrations used within the story enhance the descriptions provided by the author. When the author writes “Sneezy always has to sneeze” the picture displays Sneezy sneezing and Snow White passing him a handkerchief. The main idea of this book is to show that friends come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities and that we should all be accepted for who we are.
