Pete the cat is at the beach and he soon finds out that staying in the sun for a long time doesn't feel to great. He is afraid to go into the ocean but his brother finally conveniences him that it is alright, he even learns how to surf.

Pete the Cat is a lot of fun, although this one is not my favorite of all the Petes. It takes a lot to get me really excited about an early reader book. This one does it's job as a nice book for our youngest readers as we watch Pete take on surfing at the beach. Nothing earth shattering here.
