This is a very cute book and would appeal to female readers just from the amount of pink in the book. I would not share this with the whole class, because the boys would not like it much at all. This would be a great book to have in the classroom library for a lower elementary classroom.

With the series of Pinkarrific read alouds targeted toward early readers this I Can read Book will be of high interest to early readers, especially girls, who will be able to read independently. This will likely be one that would be read over and over. The story is about a play date and the friends
