"The walls are closing in on Pastor Matt Kenner. His daughter is suicidally depressed; her college biology professor teaches that evolution removes the need for God; her campus spiritual mentor has abandoned his faith, citing evolution as the reason; and a personal tragedy has her convinced that life is meaningless. His church, in the meantime, is under the microscope of the federal government. A liberal administration is initiating a federal Progress in Science program, which requires evolution to be embraced by all national denominations. All churches are required to register their compliance. In addition, government “education” is required for clergy whose churches file as non-compliant. Menacing groups of “follow the science” fanatics are vandalizing churches and intimidating congregations into accepting evolution. And Matt’s church consistory sees the “wisdom” of embracing evolution and complying with the federal program, especially considering the safety of the church. Matt must choose between his daughter’s well-being and the safety of his church. But the clock is ticking as the government deadline for registration approaches."
