"This book is intended to help children understand why dinosaurs once flourished upon the earth, but are now extinct. Many scientists believe a worldwide catastrophic event is responsible. A meteorite, asteroid, or nearby exploding star collided with the earth, causing huge amounts of ash to be spewed into the atmosphere, producing a dramatic change in the weather and wiping out nearly all dinosaur species. A careful Bible study shows there could be thousands, even millions of years between the first and second verses of Genesis, chapter one. After God's original creation of the earth, the Bible states, "and the earth was void..." or in the original Hebrew: "full of chaos." In these pages we will examine what caused the chaos (spiritually and physically), the ruin of the dinosaurs, and how God fixed the problem."
