Local notes

Noah lived in Sumatra, where his branch of the white race ("children of God") had migrated. Flood was regional; animals and people survived in other areas. Only selected animals taken aboard, plus at least a thousand people (the House of Noah). Ark was named Thebah; constructed of teak, had three masts with storm sails: a ship, not a simple box. Ran aground on shoals of "Ararat" near Maldive Islands, then continued to Persian Gulf, and up Euphrates River. Creation 9,920 BC; Flood 7,188 BC.
