If you like the work of Kinuko Craft, you need this book. Crafts' art is detailed, dreamy, and beautiful, almost too beautiful. She has done illustrations for fairy tales, covers for numerous novels, and opera posters. It is somewhat recalls Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelitism. I particularly enjoyed
The plates have no captions, one must refer to the list of works at the back. I know that this is irritating to some people, but in this case, I think it's aesthetically successful.
Caretakers may want to know that there are 3 sketches of nudes, but I don't really think this needs to be hidden from the kids.
