5P. What's not to like? Crisp and witty poems about frightening creatures paired with Peter Sis' inventive illustrations. My fave: "I'm Not Open for an Hour" (werewolves' barbers have to prepare carefully, after all).

I found that the brightly colored illustrations along with the fun text made for a great kid's poetry books. The poems varied in length with longer ones like "A Werewolf Of Distinction" which is about an aging werewolf to short ones like "A Vampire Speaks Of Grooming" which is about how a vampire
