This was a copy my husband held onto from his childhood. A little bit of the info is outdated today, but I still look at the handy camping checklist before we go out on trips. One additional tidbit - these books were printed on recycled paper long before this became common practice.

The information in this book is still valuable to the modern outdoorsman.

I first read a version of this manual from the 1920s or 30s, used by one of my mother's brothers. It was on almost onionskin paper, full of information and stories, and included information on merit badges, info that later was presented in separate pamphlets.
