Description

Lauren isn't a typical private detective - she's witty, hip, pretty and gay. When her partner leaves town for a conference, her life gets complicated by a new case, a new love interest and a menace from her past. As she helps a friend fight a murder charge, she gets more than she bargained for.

I appreciated the relationship stuff going on in this book. It isn't your stereotypical beginning or ending of a relationship (although there were threads of both), but rather the hard part, the part that isn't always easy or pretty, but the day-to-day living of life in a relationship.
