A LOVING TESTIMONY is a collection of first-person essays and poems that speak about the experience of losing somebody you love to AIDS. Parents, children, siblings, spouses, friends, lovers, neighbours and co-workers remember those they have lost: men, women and children from all races, religions, professions, nationalities, economic backgrounds and sexual preferences. Each story is a loving testimony to a person who is gone but not forgotten: a person who lived and whose life mattered. Among the 77 writers who have contributed to the book are Maureen Brady, Felice Picano and Jewelle Gomez.
