This is a great story for very young elementary aged children. It talks about a baby bear and his mother as she is trying to get him to go to sleep for hibernation. This would be great to include in a unit about animals like bears and how they sleep for months at a time, as opposed to humans who go

to sleep every night. This book has simple illustrations to accompany the easy read for children just learning how to do so on thier own. It is also is a great book for picture predicting.

This is a very cute book about Mama Bear helping Baby Bear fall asleep. Baby Bear is not used to the new sleeping spot for winter time and struggles to fall asleep. Finally, Mama Bear gives Baby Bear just the right amount of comfort to be able to fall asleep. This book would be a great book for kids

who may have a hard time falling asleep at night. It could also be used as a good read aloud in Elementary School and then to discuss with the kids about how they go to sleep at home.
