The tale of a rooster who forgot how to crow. He wanders the farm trying to remember with no luck, but when the fox tries to sneak into the henhouse the rooster alerts all of the animals and saves the day. After he becomes a hero, he remembers how to crow and never forgets again.

Rooster has forgotten how to crow and mixes other animal sounds into his cry. Children will enjoy joining the other farm animals in saying, "That's not right!" and seeing the mild bit of danger at the end of the story.
It's a cute story that's fun to read aloud.
