Library's review

Morrison's work is a bit hit and miss with me, and this is unfortunately more in the miss category. While the original miniseries was different and fresh, these follow-ups just feel like hack-and-slash in a messy mish-mash of purposefully unexplained and underdeveloped mythology. The "Winter Witch"

tale had these problems to a far, far smaller degree than "X-Masville", though, and as I quite enjoyed that one, I think the volume would have benefited from putting these two stories in internal chronological order rather than publication order, so that it would have ended on the stronger story.
