Description

:Even as rumors spread of the death of Sith Emperor Darth Krayt, his followers continue to enforce his edicts-- including the genocidal war against the Mon Calamari on their homeworld of Dac. But the ruthlessness of the Sith has drawn two former enemies-- Admiral Gar Stazi of the Galactic Alliance and deposed emperor Roan Fel-- into a tentative alliance. Meanwhile, Cade Skywalker, the man responsible for the galaxy's current state, has gone to ground to wallow in guilt and self-pity."--P. [4] of cover.

Great stories, lots of twists and turns - and yes, great scenes of space combat :)

Recommended.

The first half of the book gives us looks into the galactic-scale conflict, with an Imperial knight resisting the Sith effort to make an example of Dac, and an alliance between the exiled Emperor and the Galactic Republic attacking a Sith fleet. The latter part resumes the story of Cade Skywalker
