Antarctica. Even though the poems were written from the point of view of the penguin it was informative because it told the whole life of a penguin from when it is born, the types of predators it has, and how they find mates. For example, “What’s black and white and mean all over? A mighty swimmer, a restless rover. He looks like a fish from head to tail. But he isn’t a fish, he’s a killer whale!” This book is a fun way to students to get the information they need on penguins. The big idea of this book was to inform students about penguins in a fun way.
