This was a fun course that went through the history of spying right up to the killing of Osama Bin Laden. There's some on-and-off discussions of spy craft and issues of morality, but nothing very deep.

Full of interesting stories over the history of espionage. Not as detailed as I would have liked, buy a fascinating overview none the less.

This is a sweeping history of world wars and politics, from ancient times to present. So there's not a lot of detail about any specific covert operations. Entire books have been written about big events such as the double spy ring against Germany in WW II or the Walker affair in the US. Here they

get not much more than a mention. I don't even recall the Canadian "Argo" affair (1980) even being brought up. Overall well worth a listen.
