Another volume in this ongoing series - this time around, we find out a bit more about the intelligent titans why they are attacking the last remaining humans, also a bit more of their skills. The Survey Corps is finally at wall Maria, but it will be a battle - unfortunately, the Survey Corps

sacrificed a lot to get there, and this is the end point. The flashback was interesting, finding out why Marco died.

The story is well done, the illustrations are starting to improve, but I'm hoping we get answer soon - I've got theories, but very little information. Hopefully, the next volume will start answering them

If the story in this volume had taken place six or seven volumes ago I might have cared. The interminable civil war/government coup dreariness pretty much sucked the fun out of this series. At least the cast is fighting titans again, but I'd be hard pressed to say how the status quo changed to any

I was surprised at how much this particular volume gripped me. I flew through it pretty quickly and now find myself aghast at the cliffhanger ending and really needing to read volume 20 sooner than later.
