Reading With Jean
Jim and Marilyn Anderson had a son, Doug who had left home for college, he was brought up in a Christian home, but they were afraid he had let go of his Christian upbringing in favor of today's wild and free lifestyle. The Anderson's had a tenant, who was more like family, named Christina, who had
Show More
lived in the apartment over their garage for a year, who had feelings fir their sin, Doug, and she had a feeling he was living another lifestyle than the kind he lived before he left home. Christina wants to continue her education, so she decides to check out some schools she might be interested in. One school happens to be close to the school that Doug goes to, so she and Doug's mom plan a trip to check out the school and surprise Doug and take him to lunch. When they arrive at the school, her appointment is rescheduled for later, so instead of surprising Doug for lunch, they decide to take him to breakfast. So they arrive at hus apartment, unannounced. Guess who gets surprised? This is a very good book, it deals with problems a lot of parents go through with their children. I felt their heartache and pain, indecision, despair and uncertainty. This is a good book to curl up with, and see how the Andersons' and their son solve their problem. Find out what other things also are happening, on a happier note, in the Anderson's life. Good Reading!!!

This is the fourth and final book in the Restoration series. One doe not need to read the first three to enjoy this story. I have not read any of the first three but still enjoyed this one. This is kind of a prodigal son story but still well done. I liked Doug and his family but was not too fond of
Show More
his friends that partied all the time. I look forward to reading the other books in this series to learn more about this family. I received this book from Revell Reads for a fair and honest opinion.
