DNF. FOR NOW. Will return to this one, I love Kay Hoopers books. Even the older romances, which sometimes just make me giggle. She's absolutely in my top five authors though, always will be.

Interesting. I was flinching, at the beginning, from Serena's plotting - I don't like manipulators. But it worked out...even though she's even more of a manipulator than I thought at first. And Kay Hooper's usual excellent writing - solid and complex characters, plausible situations...the slipping

of the guard near the end was rather stupid, but still plausible. Good story, worth rereading - and I want to read Josh's story, too (I presume that's the next one).
