This story shows that families can have non-traditional structures as these three 9 yr old cousins live together with their aunt for the summer. The girls are industrious and creative and each has their own distinct talents and personality.

A good read aloud for younger children. A wholesome adventure by three cousins. No name calling, no commercialism, no bad behavior by characters. Happy to have a series where I don't have to edit as I read aloud to my 4 year old.

A sweet early chapter book full of innocence and charm. Great little illustrations, too.
