He agreed and he acted so good that he got to go to Frosty Freeze and get a hot fudge sundae with extra cherries. he also got to go to the pool and the carnival. He also took him to the zoo. Mr. Putter and his cat Tabby agree to walk their neighbor's dog. They soon learn they have gotten in over their heads. Eventually, though, they all find a way to get along. Children will be excited to read through the chapters and enjoy the funny antics of the pets.

Zeke chases dogs through strange houses, wraps Mr. Putter and Tabby around trees and tugs through creeks and yards. Mr. Putter devises a plan to change Zeke's behavior and make him more co-operative. I love this series and am every so thankful that kids do, too. I really want to be neighbors to Mr. Putter and Mrs. Teaberry. I don't know what it is, but this one, the second in the series (but about the 20th I've read), is not quite as strong as many of the others.
