they might see, including, maybe, a scary bear. Then they set up camp, and Henry sees wonderful things, including a fish and a deer, a waterfall and a rainbow. In another chapter, Henry and his parents they examine the constellations. This is a great story to build vocabulary about camping and the outdoors Show Less

Henry and Mudge go camping! They explore the nature and animals, Henry's mom is a camping pro while Henry's dad just comes along with a guitar and a smile. They look at starts and spend the night safe and surrounded by nature. Mudge humorously finds and eats food the whole trip.

After being intimidated by what will happen on the family camping trip, Henry finds himself admiring stars and nature. Mudge, as always, is a dedicated companion - although, eating all the time.

Not quite as lovely as the title implies, somehow, but still - I would love to be part of this family.
